I think the WHOLE GROUP did SO GREAT finishing up projects!!!

I know I should be photographing every quilt I do, but when I'm finishing other people's quilts, I don't have alot of time for my quilts. Today I've been working on a couple of centerpieces...mom's birthday is Wednesday, and I realized I was behind..

Hey Pat, It was a huge surprise to see that I was a winner. My quilt is so ... humble! I'll try to get a better picture of it to post in a couple of days...

Congrats winners! Overachiever Rachel is great - she has a great blog too. Thanks Pat for running this - it made me actually fix and finish my OP top. By August I hope to be in the thick of my Christmas projects. But I'm sure I'll still have something to finish up!!

I think running it again is a good idea. It helped me get my rear in gear which is ALWAYS a good thing.

This was fun even though I didn't get finished. It was fun checking how everyone was doing AND congratulations to the winners!! I couldn't finish because I didn't have fabric for the borders. I tried to find some in the red, white and bold group....it is hard to find now. I bought the RWB jelly roll over a year ago with no plans of how to use it...just liked it!! I was making blocks with the strip tube ruler and RWB and then heard about the challenge...so I joined for the push to get it done!! I did find outside border fabric but still need to find inner border fabric. I will post on flickr when done. Pat...another challenge in August sounds great! Caryl W in San Diego

I think it's a great idea to run the challenge again in August! It really encourages those of us with buckets of UFOs to grab one of those languishing projects and Finish It Up!

Congratulations to all the lucky winners!! I didn't sign up for the challenge but just being in your group has inspired me to pull out some projects and get to them. I will definitely participate if you do this again in August!! I think you are a really good cook at making up a batch of quilting fun. :-)
