Tell me, the calendar quilt, is that strips of fabric, sewn together, a certain size, color, widths, ? . Not sure just what this is about? Connie

I'm getting a late start, but I'm on board to get something done this weekend! I posted a link to this page on my blog and uploaded a couple of pictures to the Flickr group.

Now I just need to walk away from the computer and get started!!

I'm off to a COPS day (creative ongoing project) tomorrow. I'll be working on one of my first quilts of my 'own design'. So excited to see it take shape... has anyone ever appliqued LARGE pieces to a whole cloth quilt? They are diamond shapes too. Finger's crossed!

I need to ketchup the Secret Garden, and just about everything else. I'm waayy behind on most all my BOMs.

I'll be working on a quilt I am making for my granddaughter, who just returned from a spring term in England. The pattern is "Just Can't Cut It" and the fabric is "Pack Your Bags" by Moda. This is so appropriate because her name begins with A and the Eiffel Tower on the fabric looks like an A. I hope to finish the top by this weekend and send it to the quilter.

Okay, here's my compromise...I'll ketchup on the OP challenge quilt by piecing the backing, adding the rickrack and maybe piecing some binding strips. Then I need to work on cutting the rest of the strips for another quilt-along, so I can start sewing and cutting on that. That should keep me busy in between study sessions - big test on Sunday. Thanks Pat! Love these challenges.

I will be working on my grandkid's quilts. I am 10 down but have four in various points of completion (you know, this one needs borders, another needs unsewing, and I always have at least one applique. Great idea to have a challenge.

I would like to dig out my shoe quilt from Pat's patterns years ago, and finish it.

I think the top is partly pieced, and then I decided to add more blocks. Maybe I can at least get the blocks fused and ready for applique.

OK- Ya know " Christmas in July"? Well, I'll be working on 2 years of projects for Halloween- so it's "Halloween in June" for me this weekend. You've motivated me!! Thanks for a chance to win your wonderful gifts!

I'm in! My Calendar quilt is pathetic. January is done. I have some stripe for Feb, May and June. I need a lot of Ketchup and maybe a Costco Hot Dog.

Teddi Munslow

I am going to work on my beachy crazy quilt. I got discouraged with it and laid it aside. Started back on it and want to finish it soon. Have the new incentive of my new (new to me) Baby Lock to do the quilting with. Sew, here goes once again. LOL!

I'm looking forward to a little "ketchup" time next weekend. Will there be burgers and fries to go along with that? Oh, and chocolate malts, too! My hubby will be gone for the weekend and I am going to spread projects all over the living room floor and see just how much I can get done!!

pat sloan

you'll find something to 'ketchup with' I'm sure Cathy!!!

Linda P

This weekend I will be working on FU labels etc for our quilt show next weekend...but if it's rainy, I'd like to start on one of the I Believe blocks I've missed. Ketchup will take longer than one weekend, LOL!

We leaving the sunday after church for vacation camping in KY, but I'd like to try and ketchup on my calendar quilt.. I've completed jan - mar, I have april may and june to cut and sew. Maybe I can get some done in-between shopping for supplies and packing the car.

Pat Sloan

Glad so many can play!!!! Luckily Father's day is just ONE of the 3 days.. you can get a lot done in 2 days if that is all you have linda!

OOoooh, fun! I'm not doing any of the sew-along stuff you mentioned, but all I ever managed to do with my OP project was to do some cutting, so I think I'll pull that out and see what I can do with it. This week is for finishing charity quilts!
Thanks for the push, Pat.

Oh my, I really need to work on my calendar quilt, so count me in. Thanks for reminding me.

That's Father's Day Weekend, and we're having a big bash for my nieces and nephews since all their dad's have passed. They all look up to Rod as their substitute dad. Guess I won't be ketching up. Sorry.

I will be working on my ORANGE challenge (yeah, I know) this week. Been busy with customer quilts, finished 3 yesterday....

I will ketchup (catsup?) my challenge quilt this weekend. YES I WILL. I added the button to my blog....

Thanks for the nudge!!

Sarah Doty

Thanks for the chuckle this morning, Pat. You are clever! I'm off to a teachers use technology in the classroom workshop, but I'll post my Folk art America quilt later. All I have to do it quilt and put on binding. This should help me!
