I really love your radio show! I can't always listen live ( I am a teacher and don't get done that early in the afternoon.) I have been downloading them and playing them on my IPOD while I work out. It sounds crazy, but the time on the bike just flies by that way! I have enjoyed hearing the quilting conversations!

Kathy Sauerbrey

Holy Cow! It's February and I sure could use that calendar...as I still don't have one for 2010.
Loved your talk with Heidi,it
was great. I'll be tuning in to all the shows.
Your both such a delight.
I don't know how you get so much done.
I'm off to check out the APQS website.

You know, we quilters become familiar with the names of the movers and shakers in the quilting world and their styles and design reputations. But to "hear" them in person lets us get to know them on a more personal level. They are so warm and inspirational to hear their stories. It get's my creative juices goin'! Love your show and look forward to many more.

Wonderful podcast! Just heard about it on another podcast 2 days ago and have listened to all 3! Thank you for providing such wonderful information and interviews!

Great broadcast. I love Mondays.

Gail in Nebraska

Great show, Pat! I have a mid-arm and I didn't realize that the APQS website was so useful to all machine quilters. Keep up the very good work!

Kathy DeMarco

I met Heidi at the quilt show in Paducah once...she is a warm, sharing and helpful person with an awesome smile!

draw my name, please, I love, love, love! everything C&T puts out

thank you for all the generous tips too!

Julie Cefalu

First time listening and it was great! Heidi sounds like a busy lady and I am going to check out the APQS site so I can find out more about "George". How do you like your George? Is it similar to quilting on a standard machine? I do all of my quilting on my domestic machine and have been dreaming of getting a mid-arm machine. Someday... Thanks, Pat for a great show!

Donna

I am listening right now, this is so inspiring.
Great idea with the practising doodling on a white board. I'm starting tomorrow. Pantographs and swirls wow. I just can't believe that I could learn this. Love to listen to the show and I will keep in touch.

Mary Durham

Great show! Your shows are making me actually look forward to Mondays. That's a first!

Karen G

Loved the show with Heidi. I want to learn machine quilting but have always felt I didn't have the skills. I feel more confident now and will just try it! Karen

Gayle Allen-Grier

Hey Pat,
Enjoyed your interview with Heidi. I, too, am interested in purchasing a longarm machine and learned a lot from listening to her. I will be checking out the APQS website. Thank you so much for podcasting!

Charlene Federowicz

Hey Pat, Enjoying your talk radio show. Great tips and educational. Loved listening to Heidi today.

Eileen O.

I enjoyed Heidi's interview on Monday. My next errand is to the office supply store for a whiteboard and markers!

Barb

I listened to this radio show while reading all of Heidi's blog! I love her blog and visiting with her! I learned a great deal from listening, for example: I learned about the APQS site to visit, about using a white board and markers to practice and about the filament thread. Thank you it is great and I have marked this site to return again!

Marj

It's Thursday evening and I just finished listening to the podcast. I really enjoyed learning more about long arm quilting and about Heidi. I have been reading her blog for about a year now. I will definitely be back to listen to other shows.

call me crazy

I have always admired Heidi~ I don't know how she manages with a young family, farm life, work, quilting! Its like you are reading my mind with your questions! :-) Loved listening!

JoAnne

Great interview! I enjoyed hearing about the variety of things she does. The callers' questions were great. I will have to go to the APQS website and read up on her tips.

Lisa Franklin

I don't have a long arm. Thought seriously about gettine one, but instead chose to have DH buy me a new Bernina Aurora 440QE with BSR last year (as well as an antique dining table to set it on). I adore it!! No more worrying about stitch length!! All my foot does is give it electricity to operate and the speed is determined by how fast I move the quilt under the needle. Move it slow, the needle moves slow. What a no-brainer!! It makes machine quilting such fun. Like doodling with thread!!

Whoever came up with BSR needs to make major $$!! Best thing since light bread!!

I, in all honesty, would like to know when Heidi finds time to quilt, besides all of her other duties with her 3 children. I also have a 5 yr old and one 3 year old. Getting up before them, or staying up after they go to bed, really leaves little time for quilting, so how does she find the time? Thank you for the really fun and informative radio interview! Super!!

Jess

I am considering getting into the longarm quilting business and this show was really helpful! I especially liked the dry erase board suggestion!

Kate

Pat,
It was such fun listening ti you and Heidi! I have just started doing some of my own quilting instead of "farming" them out. The white board suggestion was great- I doodle on paper, but that uses up a lot trees!
Thanks for all the great tips.

Deb Fox-McHugh

Great show-once again! It's so great to hear the background of your guests.

Sharon

I am going to try all week to get this radio thing up and running. I actually was able to listen to the first one and Mon. could not get the radio to work. Darn it. I'm such a techno ignoramus.

Angee

Great interview! Information was great! Cant wait for next Monday!
