How fun to hear your interview with Cheryl, She has such a cute accent! I loved hearing her story. I cold relate to her as I sewed and embroidered before I could drive too! LOL To hear about the design team left me feeling a bit envious! To have all those fabrics at your fingertips and a constantly changing quilt show at your workplace... :D

Gail Moss

Pat, I love your blog and radio show and everything else you do!!! I would love to win 4 more books to add to my Library of already "too many books" as my hubby says.. I say a quilter can't have too many books...

Thanks for your great interviews. It was interesting to learn about the inner workings at Leisure Arts. I have purchased some of their books and your interview helped us understand a little of the process that goes into putting out those great books. I like to listen to the interviews while I'm working on my quilts.

Hope I didn't miss the drawing, because I would sure love a copy of your Camera book! (some friends and I did a program for our guild on your Color theory book.)

Listened to your program with Kathy last evening. Sure wish I could have been on that trip to Ireland...sounds like you had a blast!

Nancy B from Many LA

Thanks for the giveaway!

Great interview. I have Leisure Arts books and thought they were 'just a company' but you have made them real. Working with 'like minded' people is something I wish I'd had in my working life. The trip to Ireland was wonderful - book me on your next trip Please! Cheryl was so helpful about how they use our ideas, what they are looking for and how they work together to make it all happen. I would love to win the books. The radio show is great Pat. Sharing your talents is a gift to us. Thank you. Blessings, Janet

I love that Cheryl said she was a fabric collector more than a sewer........I can sooo relate to that comment but in the area of cross stitch. .....I have soooo much cross stitch stash. I love that I can listen to your show anytime I want and as many times as I want. Thank you.

I love that Cheryl admitted that she is a fabric collector just like so many of us. Love your show.

Downloading now, I can't wait to listen to these shows. Something productive to do while spending too much time on facebook.

Haven't had the chance to listen to this podcast. Loved the others, and am anxious to listen to this one. Thank you for doing these podcasts. You're the best.

I just want to say that you a re so good with people. Saw you at book signing in Houston.... you are just a natural. Look forward to more.

Monica

Thank you for doing your radio show. It is a pleasure to listen to.

Ah! I found the right spot at last -- now to leave my comment. I have to say that I want to work where Cheryl works. Even the men have their cubicles decorated with quilts and crafts, and everyone has to be crafty so they're all on the same page. Or not! Hmmmmm. I wonder if there are too many divas stirring the pot....? Probably not. The good thing about everyone being artistically involved in his or her work is that they are stimulated by seeing everyone else's work and can really appreciate it. I wonder if it is hard for Cheryl to choose what gets published?

Listened to your show with Cheryl this morning. Leisure Arts sounds like a really great place to work, with so many creative juices running. I really enjoy their books and they definitely sound like nice people to work with:) Thanks again for another great radio show, Pat!

Penny

Thank you so much for your great podcasts. I loved listening to Bonnie Hunter. I just ordered her book Adventures in Leaders and Enders, so it was great to hear her talk about her quilting career.

I'm really loving the radio show. Thanks so much for the great topics and cheer you bring.

I enjoyed this interview so much! I have been a huge fan of Leisure Arts for years. It first started when I learned how to do counted cross stitch in the early 80's.

You're right, Pat, when you said that people think your beginner books are the best. I am one of those people. After looking through several beginner books for a beginner teaching class our guild was having , yours was the best by far. We knew right away that it would be the perfect "textbook" to follow. I also love your beginning sewing book, too.

Thanks, again, for a wonderful interview.

Debby Siccardi

I really enjoyed the podcast today. I was glad to hear that anyone with a good idea can submit it to Leisure Arts. I'd love to win the books. Thanks for a great blog & podcast!

Barb Hale

I enjoyed the show. Leisure Arts sounds like a fun place to work and fun people to work with!
