It has been a LONG time since I've done a challenge
Lark publishers sent me this new book "Twelve by Twelve" about an Art Quilt Challenge
12 Quilters
12 Topics
12 Quilts measureing 12" x 12"
I think the chocolate theme is my favorite!
Don't you think it would be really fun to do a long term challenge of themes
be it color
or an item (Chocolate!)
or maybe a technique...
Tell me in the comments what you think of that idea.
you know it does NOT have to be 'arty' to work for any quilter.
Lark is doing a profile on each of the 12 quilters
and hosting a GIVEAWAY on the latest profile
so forward to the most current profile and
leave a comment to be in on the giveaway
I am feeling the need to do a challenge.. how about you?
CLICK HERE to see the 12 x 12 blog.. and a lot more quilt challenges!

Thanks, Pat. Reading the blogs was great fun and I learned a lot about the qualities of Aurifil threads.
All of the blocks make me anticipate Spring.
Once again, thanks for the opportunity to win a thread sampler from Aurifil.

A 12x12 quilt sounds like a ton of fun... 12 of them on a wall would probably look great. Hmm...

I read this post yesterday and realized I didn't comment. That's because my mind was on getting to my favorite quilt shop and buying fabric and Aurifil thread. That's a good excuse, right? Got two spools of thread, lots of fabric. Can I do a challenge? Hmmm, it's a possibility. :-) I love the blocks that everyone has designed for this blog hop!!!

I waited all week to get the blocks-now I can pick out my fabric from my stash. Let the fun begin!
