Cardboard? A staple of my kids' growing up years! Their favorite was boxes.....decorate them as planes and trains, and build them into forts, and, and, ahhhhh, good memories!

hueisei

Thanks. I had downloaded the Pick-A-Pocket Purse pattern.
Will make it for myself :D

Wanda

Cardboard is so versitale. It can be used to make book covers, just cover it with fabric or paper. It can be used to build a castle, or as insulation. It can also be used to make a loom to weave with yarn.
Personally though I pick the bag.

Patty D at NC

Very nice tote. Now I got to make one.

Karen Go

Love the tote bag! Think that Cath Kidson started a fad!

4dreamsr

Love the bag Pat! Might need that pattern for project I'm planning.

Cardboard boxes help kids use their imagination! Cats love em too.

Beth

There is also a product that you can use to laminate your own favorite fabric. Love that bag.
I really want a huge cardboard box now.:)

Cheryl

Ooh, love the new bag! I need some laminate...
And Debbie is SO RIGHT about the rare and wonderful refrigerator box. I remember having both my own apartment and a corvette, all cardboard and magic markers.

Emily

Love the tote bag ... the design is amazing! :) Thanks also for dropping by my blog! :D

Jocelyn

ooooo I love the tote bag. As a matter of fact I went and downloaded the pattern ;-)

Debbie Gallett

Love the cardboard. We used to play paintstore (our grandfather was a house painter). Oh boy if you could score a refrigerator box. They made great houses and forts. We also had some big cardboard blocks that the grandkids still play with.

It's been out for a while in quilt land.. the LIzzie B girls did an umbrella for their booth that was so cool!

Jackie

Gotta love Jennifer, she is the sweetest! She also gave me some of the laminate. My plan is to make some market bags and be the most stylish at the grocery store. Did you know, Jennifer says that you can throw the laminate in the washer? Just don't throw it in the dryer.

Margi

Laminate fabric!!?!? Do tell more. I must seriously be out of the sewing loop if I haven't heard of this yet.
