I'm going to watch for this stuff. Looks like it will have plenty of uses.

Judy G

I have two rick rack packages but most of my vintage packets are bias seam binding. The Lapel stick has possibilities.

Deb Fox-McHugh

Oh my! I need LOTS of this! I can see using it for all kinds of crafty things!

Beth

Looks like a great product. I will be on the hunt for some. Thanks for the review.

laura

I can think of many uses for this little beauty!

Marcia Kosturock

I need to learn to be more bold.. I think that would be great for my upcoming applique project!

Joan

This looks like it would be perfect for my sister who uses gum and a stapler to hem! I'd like to try it instead of pins for bindings. It might prevent a few holes in my fingers I'll have to put it on my Hershey show shopping list.

Deb

Me - I need one! I use Elmer glue stick to baste little quilt sandwiches together, and it is messy, sticky!

Linda

I loved reading the comments---it would be fab for anyone with less than perfect eyesight or with arthritis in their hands......

I would use it for the rickrack too---love the old stuff---

If my husband ever has to survive without me he has to get this---

Kris

My Grandma - she always says she has to hem pants but her arthritis on her hands bothers her.

Deborah in Atlanta

My mother could use this glue stick. She cannot, for the life of her, hem a pair of pants, or even sew on a button (not that you would use the glue to sew on the button). But she has been known to use a stapler to hem a pair of pants. That, as well as duct tape. So yes, she'd definitely benefit from having one of these.

I could use that glue stick right now in my sewing room. I have a bunch (64 to be exact) flying geese to make. I could glue my 3 1/2" sq on to the rectangle and I wouldn't have to pin it. Since I have to trim part of it off I could apply the glue on that side and not have to worry about any pins.

Lillian VanderKuur

The person who NEEDS this the most is my husband who has to wear a bowtie at work. His is always cockeyed. LOL. I would love to try using it instead of basting when I do machine embroidery. Less ripping out of basting stitches that way if it really does hold my applique and fabric in place.

Lee Ann

This sounds a lot better than that other stick a few days ago. Would love to try it, my adress is..........
Don't think it would keep buttons on, my son would rather pull/slide his shorts off than unbutton them. Oh well...

Joy

Well I would like one, but have a son who needs one. He lives on a boat and spends his weekends repairing this or that. He said he needed to find someone (lives in a different State than me) that had a sewing machine so he could try to resew some cushions in the cabin. He is great on a sewing machine and has sewn tents and outdoor gear but had to give away his sewing machine when moved on to his boat. So he needs one!

Deb

My husband needs the Lapel Stick to hem his slacks instead of thinking that I ENJOY hemming ("it's sewing isn't it and that is your hobby..." - men!). It really does sound like a great product and winning it would be so cool.

Jodi Sellers

I would love to try this! I heard it works great on hexagons for basting?

Marie

Looks like a great product to try on applique. Wonder how easy it is to get a hand needle through??? I'll be glad to test it if you send me one!wink

Liz B

hiyall,
I would love to try this product. I do alot of fuse and blanket stitch applique. would be interesting to see how this would work out instead of fusing. btw...I am know to be a ric rac whore (giggle) in my little sewing group. (mauh) Liz

Laura

You are giving one out today Cool! Looks like a great product!!!

Kathy Raabe

I LOVE your rick rack - especially the old, old packaging - remember when you could buy fabrics and notions in department stores??? WOW, that's a walk back in time.

I could use that glue stick to try my hand at appliquing by hand - something that intrigues me. Joined a BOM at a local Quilt Shop that starts in August and goes for 16 months. Hope I like it!!!!

Gill

What a great idea!
I really could have done with one on Thursday! Just off to my daughter's graduation and I found my hem had come down - luckily it was a 2 hour journey so I could stitch it but I'm sure the glue would have been easier (and a lot less stressful!!)

Shirley in Canada

My goodness this product would be sooooo great to use with hand applique, wouldn't it?? Soon I hope to pack up a hand work project to take with me to work on during my lunch hours....when I start taking them that is LOL
Thanks for the review, Pat!!S

KarenMcCaffrey

What a great find! Looks like something we would all use in our world. I want (no I need one) of them!

Maryellen

I need to try this Lapel Stick. Christine, my friend, asked if my wholesale friend could get it, since she wants to get some. I need one to bring to the wholesaler so he can try it and order it! I think his customers would like it, too.
