Pat is currently booking events. If you would like Pat to visit your guild or organization, please follow the simple steps below so we can get you scheduled and lock in your date.
- Check the workshop selection list and the pricing terms to be sure a booking will work with your requirements.
- Check Pat's calendar below to see if your desired date(s) are available.
- Fill out and submit the booking request form below with as much information as possible. We will email you back within a day or two to further discuss.
1. Review the Workshop Selections and Pricing Terms and Conditions.
Pat currently offers one lecture presentation and four workshops.
Lecture presentation: approx. 50-60 minutes. Suitable for guild program or evening event. CLICK HERE for a description of Pat's lecture presentation.
Workshops are 6 hours long and have a limit of 22 students:
- Wild and Free: Learn to "Punch up" your applique quilt backgrounds. No more neutral tan or beige backings. Bring the color out and make your quilts sing!
- The Magic of EASY Machine Appliqué: Fast, Fun and you learn ALL of Pat's tips and tricks. She will show you how to do beautiful fusible machine applique using the blanket stitch.
- Kiss Me Goodnight: Use your fabric scraps in innovative ways! Pat will show you multiple ways to piece your 'stash' and turn them into FREE quilts!
- Tidbits of Handwork: This handwork class with Pat will show you different ways to approach the running stitch as an applique method. She will show you 'thread matters' then move along to chat about the ins and outs to a successful big stitch project.

2012 Rates and terms:
- Lecture presentation: $600, combination of Pat's real quilts and powerpoint presentation (Pat provides projector, host may need to provide a suitable screen)
- Workshops: $700, 6-hrs, space requirement for each student varies depending on selection. (3-hr workshops available for $400 per session; please inquire)
- Expense fee: This fee is calculated based on transportation charges (airfare or mileage from northern Virginia), hotel, and meals. (suitable hotel is required) Host must provide local transportation when Pat flies to your location.
- Contract: After agreement of dates and fees, Pat Sloan & Co. LLC will provide a contract to the event organizer to be signed and returned. The contract contains additional standard terms and conditions.
2013 Rates - Events scheduled for 1/1/2013 and later the rates are $650, $750, and $450 respectively

Please note: The events shown here are generally confirmed. Pat's private schedule is not shown so some dates may not be available. But please inquire anyway so we can work out an acceptable alternative.
3. Fill out and submit Pat Sloan's Booking Request Form
