I've come to realize my Yarn blog is really my design journal. I find yarn things and blog them so I can remember them! Links, pictures and thoughts... fun, to do, inspirational! So you won't find an entry everyday, and it may be weeks before I can do 'yarn looking'....

but I will keep updating as I have this lovely spot to place my finds!

granny squares

I am ALWAYS attracted to granny squares!! My great grandmother made them, I have 2 of her pieces.

What is this really for?

ok... I think the creative department needed to work just a TAD longer on the name and purpose of this one

They say
"A versatile picnic accessory that can be worn as an apron, wrapped around a picnic basket or used to transport utensils"

The name of this item? A Picnic Belt ....mmmm... maybe they should have just made it longer and called it an apron? Dunno... maybe it's just me but seems too wide for a fashion item and too useless for anything else!
