Good Book Cafe (GBC)– The Scoop
I enjoy books, my friends enjoy books, my family enjoys books, and lots of people I meet enjoy books. So it made sense to have some fun and put together a Book Club! This is a place where we can share ideas, authors, and the best reads around.
The books for 2008 will be 'light' reads. I will be listing an alternate book each month and if someone tells me about a great 'must read' .. well I'll list that too.
Since many of my friends are avid readers, I'm listing several books by an author and letting you pick which one you want to read. Only the main selection will have the books listed, the alternate selection will be just one book by that author.
During the month I'll do a post or two about the book club. You can post a comment here, but don't give anything away... thanks!
I also have a Yahoo group for the GBC. You can sign up and chat with us. It is mostly a sharing of books, requests for feedback on books, and bringing up new authors. There is sometimes a small bit of story discussion. I'd love to have you join this more interactive forum.
